Chamber Music Series: The Grass Menagerie Plays Bluegrass

The Grass Menagerie, an amazing trio of musicians, will entertain with a musical genre that Americans can claim as their own – bluegrass!Bluegrass was influence by Welsh, Scottish, Appalachian and English traditional musical styles.  Grass Menagerie was formed five years ago for audiences desiring the bluegrass feels, but with an added factor – variety!  The instrumentation lends itself to the strict bluegrass rooted music, but the music selection takes it to another level by including jazz, pop, rock and covers of country music.
