The St. Augustine Youth Chorus will perform the final concert of the “Young Performers Series. Their performances are highly anticipated events in St. Augustine and are noted for their quality and beautiful vocal sound.
The Youth Chorus, directed by Kerry Fradley, and accompanied by Mary Topping, will sing songs about the animals that make up a part of our wonderful world. The concert entitled “All God’s Creatures Got a Place in the Choir” will feature a touching song about a Hiroshima survivor from “Paper Crane”, to “Tiger “, a playful song about the ferocious beast.
The SAYC is a group of 35 young singers, ages 8-18 who all love to sing. They recently performed as the chorus in a fully staged production of the opera: The Little Prince presented by First Coast Opera and also in concert with the St Augustine Community Chorus.
