Dulcinea Early Music Consort was formed in St. Augustine in 2012. The consort performs music from the Medieval and Renaissance through the Baroque and Modern eras, in period dress, on replicas of a wide variety of recorders and other early music instruments. Dulcinea performs general concerts and educational programs at libraries, schools, churches, historic homes, retirement homes parties and festivals.
Dulcinea seeks to enrich cultural life through exciting, historically informed live performances and educational programs designed to inspire a new appreciation of early music and enable and support the study of early music and instruments.
Dulcinea usually has four members: Betty Fell, Nancy Frankle, Carol Markey, Bill Ruthenberg and Robbie Zukauskas, all retirees who love to play music.
Dulcinea will share this Chamber Music performance with Robert Burns on the hammered dulcimer.
