Art on Aviles Street

Aviles Street, the premier address for art shops and restaurants, is hosting a Festival of Art on Saturday, May 6.  The Festival will feature plein air artists, painting and sketching outside on this historic street.  At 2 pm, the Romanza Festivale Procession will come down Aviles Street led by a Parade Grand Marshal and costumed re-enactors with the Jaguar Drumline keeping everyone in step and the pipes of the First Coast Highlanders providing additional music.  Browse in the shops and enjoy the…

The St. Augustine Art Association, founded in 1924, is presenting an exhibition called “Where Art Meets History”.   The exhibit will be a culmination of a St. Augustine Plein Air Paint Out sponsored by the Art Association from April 21 – 30.
