Chamber Music Series: The Orchestra’s Verandah Jazz hosts Chorus Soloists

Verandah Jazz from the St. Augustine Orchestra and Nonet! from the St. Augustine Community Chorus will present selections from The Great American Songbook in this noontime concert.  The program will be selected from the following favorites: Irving Berlin Medley Fascinating Rhythm City of Stars (from La La Land) Route 66 Blackbird Smile Duke Ellington Medley The Nonet! The Chamber Music Series: “Dulcinea”, Early Music Consort with Robert Burns on Dulcimer

Dulcinea Early Music Consort was formed in St. Augustine in 2012.  The consort performs music from the Medieval and Renaissance through the Baroque and Modern eras, in period dress, on replicas of a wide variety of recorders and other early music instruments.  Dulcinea performs general concerts and educational programs at libraries, schools, churches, historic homes, retirement homes parties and festivals. Chamber Music Series: The North Florida Women’s Chorale in Concert: “Visions”

May 16 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

The 45-voice North Florida Women’s Chorale is conducted by Kerry Fradley  and  accompanied  by  Kathleen  Vande  Berg. The NFWC is being honored for their outstanding choral singing with an invitation to perform a concert in Carnegie Hall with John Rutter as conductor.  The concert will be presented in NYC on Memorial Day, 2021,  and will feature Rutter’s “Requiem”.
