The Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center was established in 2005 inside the Excelsior School building which was the first high school for African American students in St. Johns County.  The Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center offers a rich and comprehensive history of the triumphs of African Americans in the Nation’s oldest city. Hours are 10 am to 3 pm Wednesday through Friday.  Times are available for appointments by groups.

Sometimes going to court should be fun!  So says Curtis Tucker, First Coast Opera Artistic Director and composer of The Trial of B. B. Wolf.  FCO remounts this whimsical look at what might happen if the Big Bad Wolf was on trial for destroying the property of the Three Little Pigs and for murdering Little Red Riding Hood’s Grandmother.  Ultimately, a jury chosen from the audience decides his fate.  Performed by professional singers with piano accompaniment, this 45-minute one-act opera is…
