The St. Augustine Art Association, founded in 1924, is presenting an exhibition called “Where Art Meets History”.   The exhibit will be a culmination of a St. Augustine Plein Air Paint Out sponsored by the Art Association in April. The Paint Out is open to local, regional and national artists and is designed to capture St. Augustine’s colorful history. Sometimes going to court should be fun!  So says Curtis Tucker, First Coast Opera Artistic Director and composer of The Trial of B. B. Wolf.  FCO remounts this whimsical look at what might happen if the Big Bad Wolf was on trial for destroying the property of the Three Little Pigs and for murdering Little Red Riding Hood’s Grandmother.  Ultimately, a jury chosen from the audience decides his fate.  Performed by professional singers with piano accompaniment, this 45-minute one-act opera is…
