The St. Augustine Maritime’s 450th Legacy Vessel

The San Agustin, St. Augustine’s Maritime 450th Legacy vessel, is located on the waterfront of the Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park.  The Saint Augustine Maritime Heritage Foundation, Inc.’s dedicated volunteers and supporters handcrafted her from the ground up.  SAMHF boatbuilders are eager to share information about her history and construction. Romanza Chamber Music Series: James Baird, Guitar

The 450th Anniversary of the founding of St. Augustine inspired James Baird’s in-depth journey in the guitar music of the Spanish Renaissance and Baroque periods.  Today, Mr. Baird will present a performance/lecture entitled A Brief History of Spanish Guitar Music.  This repertoire spans 450 years from the Spanish Siglo de Oro through 20th century compositions written for Maestro Andres Segovia.
