The Saint Augustine Maritime Heritage Foundation

The San Agustin, St. Augustine’s Maritime 450th Legacy vessel, is located on the waterfront of the Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park. The Saint Augustine Maritime Heritage Foundation, Inc.’s dedicated volunteers/supporters handcrafted her from the ground up.  SAMHF boatbuilders are eager to share information about her history and construction. The Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center

The Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center was established in 2005 inside the Excelsior School building which was the first high school for African American students in St. Johns County.  The Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center offers a rich and comprehensive history of the triumphs of African Americans in the Nation’s oldest city. Hours are 10 am to 3 pm Wednesday through Friday.  Times are available for appointments by groups.

Young Performers Concert

St. Augustine’s young performers will have two opportunities to showcase their talent during Romanza Festivale.  The first recital will be on Tuesday, May 8 and the second on Wednesday, May 9, both at 4:30 pm in the chapel of Memorial Presbyterian Church.  Local teachers and music studios will present their most advanced students giving them an opportunity to perform for their peers and for their enthusiastic fans.
