The Bartram Trail Honor Choir will present a concert at Grace United Methodist Church on Sunday, March 6, as part of the series Music at Grace. The title of the concert is Songs of Home and Heart.
The Bartram Trail High School choirs have been under the direction of Barbara Mattingly for the past sixteen years. Bartram’s choral groups regularly receive superior ratings in Florida Vocal Association adjudication. Honor choir participation includes annual performances with the EPCOT Candlelight Processional and Massed Choir, Jacksonville Sings!, Stetson University High School Choral Festival, Florida All-State Choirs, Charleston International Festival of Choirs 2014, and, most recently, Manhattan Concert Production’s Festival Choir 2018 in Lincoln Center’s David Geffen Hall. Bartram’s choral students have been privileged to work with esteemed choral clinicians James Jordan, Amanda Quist, Eric Whitacre, Craig Jessop, and Nicole Lamartine, among others. The BTHS Choir is thrilled to be back this year as part of the Romanza Festivale!
