Sometimes going to court should be fun! So says Curtis Tucker, First Coast Opera Artistic Director and composer of The Trial of B. B. Wolf. FCO remounts this whimsical look at what might happen if the Big Bad Wolf was on trial for destroying the property of the Three Little Pigs and for murdering Little Red Riding Hood’s Grandmother. Ultimately, a jury chosen from the audience decides his fate. Performed by professional singers with piano accompaniment, this 45-minute one-act opera is perfect for children of all ages!
The opera boasts a cast of very talented local singers: Regina Torres, Mitchel Burns, Joe Colsant, Brittany Fouché and Curtis Tucker himself playing the Big Bad Wolf. The Music Director and pianist is Zeek Smith.
This afternoon presentation gives adults the opportunity to hear the opera and for children who missed the noontime performance to attend this very special encore performance.
